I know, anything is posssible here at 68 classifieds.

What Ive seen so far is a great script with great customer sevice mixed with great members who are willing to help you get started. You can't beat that!

I was looking at the script to see if there was an easy way to make a local business directory out of the script. Is there a mod or add-on for this. I've searched for about an hour and haven;t found one.

I was thinking about businesses adding images, coupons and video options to their business listings.

Back 7 or 8 years ago I took a E classified standard edition and made a business directory out of that which was a lot of work but well worth it in the end. I'm getting old and lazy and looking for a FAST FIX LOL!!

Probably the easiest thing to do is use this ClassifiedMods Custom Categories . I believe your can suppress the price field and effectively you end up with a directory. If not it is fairly simple to do if you edit the individual template files to stop displaying price. The question I have is are you intend to do this by the side of a normal classifieds or are you just building a directory?

Think this is then simpler as you do not need to worry about a mixed system. One thing you will need to consider is sorting and ordering. You may wish to consider modifications which fix your entries in alphabetical order.
