Default Custom Payment

What would the process be to setup a custom payment processor?

I have an account with PNC Merchant Services to process credit card payments, but that's not one of the pre-installed processors. How easy is it to set up a custom processor?

We would be happy to help you integrate it if you can get the integration documentation. As of v3.1.1 we support custom payment providers that are easier to install. Here is a brief description of it:

Default not understanding

OK -

I got both of these files ,but I'm not understanding what to edit AT ALL. Please excuse my ignorance. The instructions mention the file and say they can be edited, but since I'm not a php guru - I didn't really understand the codes.

All I know is that I want my custom payment method to be "EGold" and the URL that it needs to go to for payment is:
http://3038050.e-gold.com/

Yes the instructions are a little vaque and most of the documentation will come from your payment provider. So if you can locate an integration guide I will see about helping you build this.

So, I've determined that I'll be using YourPay which is powered by LinkPoint and uses the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway.

I would suppose then that I could either use the native Linkpoint integration, or that the custom payment method wouldn't be too difficult to setup.

The linkpoint integration currently supports linkpoint basic but I am integrating linkpoint api into v3.1.3 so I believe it should work. You may want to contact them to double check they use the same settings but I do not see a problem with it.

The current Linkpoint Basic payment module in 68C will work with Linkpoint Connect - we currently use it on one of our sites. Hopefully we'll have API capability soon.

Edit: Doh! Eric beat me to it.

Me again with another payment question.

Does the LinkPoint integration, or any payment method, support CVV2 and other such data?

Also, is the user re-directed to the payment servcies site to complete the transaction or does he stay on the 68Classifieds-enabled site?

It depends on the individual payment provider.

For example linkpoint connect requires them to enter their card details on their site so we leave it for linkpoint to take this information.

The api will allow you to take cards on your site without redirecting them and it will be setup to only take what they require. So if they accept cvv2 then that will be taken and sent.
