1) Can I sort ads by date or Expiration and set that as default for users?
2) Is there option to refresh old ad to place him again on top? Because when ad is old isn't on top and no body view him anymore and you must create new ad to make him on top of category. 3) In demo when you go to modify ad you can't change picture? 4) In demo when you go to modify ad, the ad stops to be active? why? |

Hi,
1) Can I sort ads by date or Expiration and set that as default for users? Yes this can be done. 2) Is there option to refresh old ad to place him again on top? Because when ad is old isn't on top and no body view him anymore and you must create new ad to make him on top of category. No this would depend on your sorting. I guess you could manually change the date added. 3) In demo when you go to modify ad you can't change picture? You should be able to. It may be something going on with the demo. It runs a modified version. 4) In demo when you go to modify ad, the ad stops to be active? why? That is a setting in administration. When ads are edited you can have them set to not approved so you can validate it. Or change the setting and the ad will remain active.

I guess anything is possible. Besides editing the date added of the listing you could also allow people to resort by date which would bring up old ads first. I am sure you could also alter code to have it automatically change the date.
I am sorry but to be honest I really do not see the point in doing this. With sorting new ads first then old ones are always going to be last. It would seem to me you would want them to re-list the item to be back at the top so you can charge again.
