hi there

just wanted to know if it was possible to add the following features to a 68 classifieds script:

• Geographic-context banner advert system
• Reporting feature on page views and also search queries entered
• featured property module
• backend 'agent' login with ssl compatability inc. special 'agent' area where they can enter property listings
• integrate online payment facility for people who want to sign up as 'agents'
• anti-duplication property/product system based on 'address'
• email alerts based on location criteria like image attached
• property listing (product description page) to include Visits Calendar, Google Maps, Next/Prev Property

can anyone tell me if this is possible for someone to develop into 68 classifieds, and if so, any suggestions who could help me out here? perhaps even you?

I have to be frank as I have run a brace of real estate sites for several years now. Most of this has very little to do with the likely success of your site and will build in complexity making upgrade/enhancement difficult. What is not clear is your goal. Are you talking about building a site for a single agent or for multiple agents.

If you are building a site for an agent or agents the most important thing to offer is an xml feed so they do not load properties by hand. I will tell you now, they will not do it. They will want it sucked out of their in house system. The next down the list is simplicity. The simpler to use and clearer the site is, the better.
