I have a couple of pre-sale questions; hoping someone could assist with ...

1. Does the Classified 68 software maintain any credit card data within the database and/or other files ? I'm specifically concerned about any PCI compliance issues associated with internally storing credit card data captured via the payment gateways (like PayPal). In general, are there any PCI compliance issues / concerns using this software.

2. How do you generally recommend managing a test environment / site ? Will the Developer licensing agreement allow me to run a separate test environment on my laptop without additional licensing fees ? I'm planning to run the production site at a hosting facility; and would prefer to leverage a desktop development environment if possible.

3. I haven't yet selected / obtained a domain name for my site. It appears I may need to register a domain name first in order to license / use the software ? Are there any provisions for licensing / using the software for local desktop development purposes without a registered domain name ? Can I change the domain name at any time at no additional cost ?


Software / Demo look great ! Appreciate any assistance with these questions.

Hi,

1. The script doesn't store any sensitive information like credit card details or logins to external sites.

2. We allow you to run a copy on a local machine. You would just enter a license key of localhost. I would recommend using an application like xampp or mamp to install apache, php, mysql for you.

3. You can install locally like #2. We also allow you to change the domain associated with your license at any time through our customer area. No Additional fee.

Paypal won't give out any cc info so no worries there. I can't imagine any of the common payment providers (e.g. 2checkout, authorize.net) give you that info either.
