Control of which fields are displayed is all handled within the 68C admin. For the price field you can hide it or show it globally but can not turn it off selectivly on a per category basis.

The control of the fields for searches and browsing is controlled by the user groups. That way you can set some fields visible only to registered member etc.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I was able to see how to disable the Price Field. Regarding the listing, I see the options, but it does not show or able to show the extra fields. Is this possible?

Thanks
Bob

By default extra fields are not displayed in the search/browse listings.

The main reason for this is because extra fields are specific to each category and because of the design the extra fields are stored in different database tables than the ads themselves. Because of that additional database queries need to be done to collect these details.

It can be done but will require custom work and there are considerations such as a search that returns ads in multiple cats that have different extrafields.
