Hi
I am considering to buy the phpBB usershare for 68 classifieds, but I would like to know if this mod works with phpBB3 or if I have to use phpBB2? Thank you! Regards Oyvind

Blair's response is not correct. It will NOT currently work with phpbb3.
We are planning on upgrading the module but haven't had the time yet. Sorry.

Any update on this module? The description of the module at:
http://www.68classifieds.com/shoppin...ershare_phpbb/ doesn't specifiy the versions of phpbb with which it is compatible. Thanks! |

When or if this mod is made, I would be interested to see it.
I have worked with phpbb3 and its a huge maze behind the scenes. Very well made but not so simple for plug and playing. My classified-software.co.uk site forces the user to register & login through the main site only. This in turn registers/ logs in to the forum. People who modify account details etc, it needs to update both. I would make a mod for this myself but it'd probably take that much work to actually perfect it, Im not sure if it would be cost effective. Good luck with making it if you do.

If it is that involved, will there be a mod for connecting 68Cv4 to phpbb2? As far as I am aware, there is only a 68Cv3 to phpbb2 mod. Please correct me if I am wrong. |
