v4.1.0 RC1 Is Released

V4.1.0 RC1 (Release Candidate) is now released and is available from our customers section.

THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

The term release candidate refers to a version with potential to be a final product, ready to release unless fatal bugs emerge. In this stage of product stabilization, all product features have been designed, coded and tested through one or more beta cycles with no known showstopper-class bugs.

There may still be source code changes to fix defects. There may still be changes to documentation and data files, and to the code for test cases or utilities. New code may be added in a future release.

Notes:

From this point forward a complete file change log will be included in the package.

Does this mean including this release or after this release? There is not list of changed files in RC1 as of right now.

Have the templates been changed or will beta 5 templates work with RC1?

They will be available after this release. Or in all future releases.

All the template files have been touched because I added a revision number to each. So I do not have a way of telling exactly which ones have other changes.

To be safe I would replace all of them except layout.
