Thanks for both the replies, and the link to see other sites are VERY helpful. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand that it's sometimes necessary to charge for things we make. I'm not a coder, and when I look at code I get crossed-eyed! As for the cheese, I usually order without, and slap a piece on from home. .30 cents for a piece of cheese, that's highway robbery!Anyway, I'm just saying that I like how vbulletin.org has a site for coders and designers to offer their "limited" mods to vb owners for free. This way if it don't work, you unistall. But if you like the limited version, more than likely you'll purchase their full version. I know you're not vb, I was just saying. I really like your product it's just hard to find a classified script that ties into one of the largest forums around without have to get extras. There is one I'm currently using that was designed specifically for vbulletin, but it's too confusing for my users. Simplicity is everything which is one of the many advantages this program offers. Knowing myself very well, I'll figure out a solution to connecting it to the home page and forum. Thanks again, and any other suggestions will be appreciated. If not no problem, LOL. |

| cwp | You have to understand that mods take a lot of time to write up. I have purchased a total of 2 mods (SEO & Zip Code Search) since I bought 68classifieds and hope to buy more as they come out. Purchasing mods separately is such a great idea rather than having to buy an expensive classifieds software with modules you don't need/want. This way you can purchase the classifieds software at a good price, and then buy the additional stuff you want. It's kind of like buying a hamburger, and paying 25 cents more for that piece of cheese they slap on there. That piece of cheese costs the restaurant money too! | |

Hi, Here is a list of some customers using our script: http://www.68classifieds.com/links/ > One more questions, can I create multiple listing timeframes, and charge different prices for that? Yes you can do this just add different packages. |

Thanks for the response. Can I see your site in action to see how you set up things or is this not allowed. Here's a suggestion for the owners, maybe create an area in the forum where visitors can see current script owners sites to help us get a better idea how it's really being used. The demo is nice, but it doesn't really show the scripts full potential and sometimes that's hard to envision. ![]() I really, really like the member navigation feature. And the entire script offers a crisp and easy look. So easy a caveman can do it! ![]() I'm getting closer to purchasing, I'm just concerned about the script not sharing users without purchasing another mod. And getting it to work with the CMPS. I probably can do the RSS feed thing as suggested, but then my issue is how to get the feature ads to show also...hmmm. One more questions, can I create multiple listing timeframes, and charge different prices for that? [Example] 7 days = Free 30 days = $1.00 Thanks for the support. |

Keep in mind that I'm only a customer of 68 Classifieds, so my answer aren't official. I'm just trying to help out. What mod are you referring to? http://68mods.com/listing/18/vBulletin_Usershare.html this one? Yes it's supported with 68classifieds. It was written by the same authors as 68 classifieds. It shouldn't be hard at all to install. Every module that I've bought and installed was pretty easy. If you don't purchase the user share module, then users will have to login to your classifieds AND your forums. If you purchase the module it will make one username for both. If you're asking if vBa CPMS is supported, the answer is probably no. Will it work with 68 classifieds? Probably, but I don't know enough about it to give you a positive answer. And yes, I'm pretty sure you can use the user share mod with the designer edition. If you run into any other questions let us know. Quote:

I decided to register - like the support so far. , and I got tired of trying to read that darn captcha code.![]() Okay, but is that mod supported? and what is the level of difficulty to install? So if I don't purchase the user share mod, then users would have to login in on the classified and my site? Also, this is a little off topic but in relationship to it...have you guys thought of offering a "toned down" version of your classified script over at vbulletin.org Vbulletin is really needing a good classified script add-on. So finally, just to be clear, I can do even the user share with the Designer edition? Thanks again. |

You could use the RSS feed (external.php) and include it in your home page, perhaps as an iframe. -Mike |

You should be able to use the cmps mentioned above. You would need to purchase this module - http://68mods.com/listing/18/vBulletin_Usershare.html. Then you will just have to put the cmps code into 68classifieds. I don't see a reason for it not to work if you just put some time into it. |
