V4.1.x 'Place and Ad' modification sought

Hi All,

I am using version 4.1.1 hosted at the moment but will be updating in the next couple of months to the full Developer License allowing modifications.

When someone tries to place an ad the first window is a 'Category' select window, the problem I am experiencing is that my site will be having 40 categories each split further into sub-categories and some of these into sub-sub-categories (amounting to several thousand individual categories). At the moment a single drop down box listing all possible categories, sub-categories, and sub-sub-categories is the only way I can see for someone to select a category when placing an Ad, obviously this is not appropriate and definately not viable to use.

Has anyone created a modification where a second, third, etc. drop down box appears with the relevent sub-categories appearing depending on the initial category selected? Or more 'user friendly' would be to have selection via the same method as in the 'Browse' section, this would be much easier to navigate to choose the category under which an advert could be placed.

If not is any professional on here able to do this? (If so there are a couple of other modifications that would be required on other aspects so it could prove a lucrative contract.)

Ive done this but only for a single depth. ANy more and the ajax to load the additional dropdowns puked in some browsers. Thats when I created the category tree mod.
