Default adding expiry of the ad in step 2

Hello,

i want to add the expiry of the ad above the price when you are placing an ad in step 2 "Select Package", i managed to know where is it in step two but not sure about the code to enter, tried few options but it gave me blank line, anyone tried something like that before?

Thanks.

I just took a quick look and the number of days are not pulled out of the database for this page. So this would be a change only available with the Developer edition.

The only time it is used is once they submit the listing details. Then after that you can use the actual listing expiration.

so i wont have a choice except buying a module for my client that shows the price alone then after he picks he should start placing the ad, which is not convincing from the client point of view

thanks again.

When creating ad packages you can add any type of description you want. Just include something like "Ad runs for 90 days".

I'm not exactly sure what it is that you are trying to accomplish. It seems as though you simply want to let the buyer see the duration of an ad listing package. The most simple method is to have the duration in the description of your ad listing package.

Example:
Ad Package Title: Single Photo Ad
Ad Package Description: This listing includes a single photo and runs for 30 days

Side note observation:
I've been reading many of your posts and it seems as though you would like to change functionality of the script. You purchased the Designer version of the product which allows you to change the Design (templates, presentation) aspects of your site as it is advertised/marketed. I would suggest that you consider upgrading to the Developers version which allows you to modify functionality as advertised/marketed.
