Default Does the forum usershare/ bridge module still exist

Hi all,

this is just me with a little idle thinking. Because at the moment me and members are resorting to emails flying back and forth its proving a little ackward.

Does the bridge/usershare still exist for 68C and invision or any other forum at that (eg phpBB) ?

If so, where is it located as for the life of me I cannot find it lol.

Kind regards,

Not sure if it exists but if it does you would find it listed on http://www.classifiedmods.com where modules, templates and plugins get publicized.

The usershare mods if still available would be at the main site 68classifieds.com, because they are offered by 68 Classifieds directly and are their own products. I believe they have been discontinued as they were not compatible with the latest versions of the third party software scripts (vBulletin and phpbb), but I may be mistaken.

Oh,

That is a real shame .
I have looked on the main site and followed links to their supposed location but as you say Mike, they are no longer there and I simply get an error.

It is a shame that these were or could not be updated to work with the latest phpBB3 and vb as having to ask users to create multiple logins is never a good thing.

Many thanks,

Hello,

Are there any alternatives to the bridge module, such as a guide, for example, to help designers emulate what the module intended on doing?

No guide available and if there were it would not be designer friendly. Syncing or organizing logins between different scripts can be a complex task. The fact that VB is a licensed product means that not a lot of people are going to license it just so they can make a mod for it.

Thanks for the reply. So my best bet would be to either do it myself or to hire a designer on these boards?
