Default Vb Usershare Module Question

Just curious if anyone is using the VB Usershare Module and figured out a way to fix some of the flaws with the module?

I was planning on moving my existing VB username database over to 68C and redirecting the vbulletin registration links to the 68C registration page so all new members signed up thru 68C. I just realized if you change your password on one software, it doesn't change on the other.

I was just thinking with the Usershare Module when you register on 68C it sends the username/password info to Vbulletin, would it be possible to send a new password to vbulletin whenever it is "reset" or changed in 68Classifieds?

The problem is vbulletin salts the md5 password so I am not sure how easy it would be to update the field. It may be easier to use vbulletin's plugin system to update 68classifieds user table. However I have no idea how hard that would be to build.
