Default Ioncube hiccup w/ installation at godaddy?

Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up 68classifieds at godaddy, and using Designer -v4.1.3

I've uploaded all the files.

When going through the setup steps, after entering my database info, I land on a page that reads:

Site error: the file /home/content/h/e/r/[edited]/html/68class/includes/classes/database/mysql.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

The base of my account contains my own php.ini file which apparently was automatically installed upon account creation.

My godaddy account is running PHP 5.x

This document says to create a php5.ini file for accounts running php 5:
GoDaddy Ioncube Installation - 68 Classifieds

That document also says to visit the following page:
http://yoursite.com/ioncube/ioncube-...tall-assistant

I visited that page (w/ my domain substituted) and it said Page Not Found/doesn't exist.

My php.ini file contains the following:

Quote:
register_globals = off
allow_url_fopen = off

expose_php = Off
max_input_time = 60
variables_order = "EGPCS"
extension_dir = ./
upload_tmp_dir = /tmp
precision = 12
SMTP = relay-hosting.secureserver.net
url_rewriter.tags = "a=href,area=href,frame=src,input=src,form=,fields et="

[Zend]
zend_extension=/usr/local/zo/ZendExtensionManager.so
zend_extension=/usr/local/zo/4_3/ZendOptimizer.so
Please let me know how shall I get this classifieds cookin'

That document also says to add the following line to your php5.ini If the file is not blank just below the [Zend] line.

zend_extension = /replace/with/your/path/from/step2/html/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so

did you do that???

ahh, I got the Ioncube sorted now. Thanks Lhotch.

I created a php5.ini file with that line of code, after figuring the path.

Now is it ok to have both a php.ini file and a php5.ini file simultaneously in my base directory?

And when I visit my admin page it doesn't want to load, just times out. So I'm gonna do a fresh install in the base directory instead of having 68 in it's own folder...

Hopefully that will sort it out. But if not you can submit a ticket with your ftp details and we can try and help you out.

Thanks Eric,

Just to update, I switched back to my other host, nearlyfreespeech.net and installed 68classifieds without a hitch.

Interestingly, I didn't have to bother with any php.ini or Ioncube business. I don't have any php.ini files in my account, so I guess it's setup somewhere more basic at NFS... I may contact their support just to confirm that my site will stay happy, regarding this ioncube stuff. Yeah! play time
