The ability when a new customer registers to be able to register as private user or as a commercial / dealer

dealers address would be displayed, while private users wouldn't
(this could be altered as needed via admin panel)

the option to browse by location, to show dealers in location,
example: select the from a list of states, and in each state to list dealers with cars for sale, this would be similar to how people currently browse cars by category

dealers would be able to purchase packages for multiple listings, and packages not available to private users (again this would be altered as needed via admin panel)

Dealers could upload there own logo on to the website, all their ads would display the logo, and commercial contact details, also the listing would be marked as "garage" or commercial

The ability to extract the core of the system to embed into another template to make a sub site for a garage would be a great feature
example
mygarage.mywebsite.com
or mywebsite.com/mygarage
This would be a custom template for the garage in question
It would list only there cars, and would be branded with only there items
It would allow the garage to add a page, and would include there contact details, google maps etc,
The webmaster would do all the work, (design the page etc) but need php include text, eg

insert content
insert menu

this would be read and updated from the database content etc

maybe some of my ideas are bit tough
but a better 2 type of user system is needed

I second that and also have the ability to show dealers logo in showlistings.

Thats why the forum is here, to get ideas of what everyone wants. Keep in mind that for you a 2 user type system may be important but if its not for 95% of the other users it makes it hard to justify the changes, especially if they have a large impact on how the system works for others.

It not exactly a 2 type of user system, there is al ready a user groups system, it would just stem from allowing the user to select private or commercial user when registering an account, and having a few more fields relevant to the user registration fields, similar to extra fields are to the listings,

I'd be willing to pay for multiple item checkout straight away, I believe maffo may already be looking into this, as an update to his dynamic checkout
