narrow listings down to certain areas

HI all,

Just wondering whether it is possible to set the website, so that if you only wanted to search in say a certain town only it could do this. Im UK based so it would need to be EG: london, belfast,birmingham,liverpool etc.. an example of this can be found on Gumtree.com: UK's No. 1 in classifieds - jobs, property, cars and more where you have the ability to change the towns you are looking in.
