New 68 Addition

I would like to announce the newest addition to the 68 family, Trinity Barnes. Trinity was born on December 10th 2008 at 21:53. She weighed 5 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. Trinity was so excited to be a member of the 68 family that she decided to come 10 days early.

As many of you can imagine with this new addition I will be off work a few days getting me, my wife, and Trinity adjusted to a new life altering routine.

Thanks again to everyone and I just couldn’t wait to share the news.

Frustration-Free Packaging

Just in time for Christmas, Amazon is now offering Frustration-Free Packaging.

This almost makes me want to do all my shopping from them. Fighting with the normal packaging is enough to make you go crazy.

Which leads me to a question. Why do you think most packaging is done in this way now? Does it prevent theft? Have higher sales?

Translaters Wanted

We are looking for some people that would be interested in translating a file from English to your language. For anyone that translates the file we will give you a $100 coupon good for anything on this site. We are mainly needing the following languages:

• French
• Spanish
• Dutch

If you are fluent in a different one then we can probably extend the offer to you as well. Please contact us before translating to make sure someone else hasn’t already started.

68 Mods Grand Opening

We are proud to announce that 68 Mods has just been redone. The sole purpose of the new site is to help you find third-party developers, modifications, modules, payment gateways, and templates for 68 Classifieds. The new site is built entirely of 68 Classifieds v4 with a few modules added in.

The goal for this site is to help centralize all the mods in one place and making searching for a particular mod easy. Another nice feature is the ability to rate and review both modules and developers. So if you have worked with a particular developer or module then rate it so other users can see what to use and what to avoid.

We decided to create a new blog for all things 68 Classifieds. The initial plan is to make one post a week with some type of tip and post any important news. Since this is the first post I think it might be a good idea to tell you a little about our company.

68 Classifieds is owned and operated by 68 Designs, LLC and our office is located in the nice little town of Belmont NC. About 10 minutes from Charlotte NC. We have been in business since May of 2003. 68 Classifieds was first released in 2004.
