Default Is there any redemption from Captcha Hell?

Hi
The super-uno disturbing function all my new users go through (as I have always myself) is trying to figure out the dyslexic letters of Captcha. Now I am not inveighing over the need for it, just would like to find a version which was a bit less dependent upon a crystal ball and more readily recognizable by an honest human :-)

I have noticed 68C has a much more "user friendly" version. Is there an upgrade to this somewhere?

Thanks much
BarryG

I have created a reCaptcha module which you can find here:
68 Classifieds reCaptcha Module

It only works with v4.1.x though because of the way the captcha is setup. Also here is a demo:

Thanks Eric
I am sure this is a great upgrade. Have too much development work to redo things at the moment with a 4.12 upgrade, so I cannot presently adopt it.

Is there some museum of natural history where I can find a version for 4.09 I bought just 3 months ago?

Thanks really
BarryG

The freecap that is included with the 68C is an open source script. You can change the settings yourself to something that better suits your needs. The config file is documented, so you can fiddle with the settings and test your changes.

It is located here:

I purchased that template so by the terms I can't make a template from it. We did hire the guy and he designed the deepsea template we now include.
