Do you know how to import only the new ads from one file to another?

I would like to update a file with another.

So you want to create a list of new listings in a specific file? Maybe for printing or something like that?

I made changes to my web site locally on the extrafields and I updated all that ads with these fields. But meanwhile other ads are added to the site online. I want to update my new listings locally with my new online ads.

I think I am understanding now. You have a local copy running and you want it to match the server copy?

If so you can export your server database and then import it into your local mysql. I would probably select all the tables except for the admin.

I will tried to explain better.

I import my database locally. I added extrafields. I changed all the ads to be able to use these new extrafields. But there were new ads that have been added to the database online.

Now I want to retrieve only new online ads and placed it in my local database to use the new extrafields.

After I will move the local database to the database online.

I understand, but not sure how to do it can you just export the extra fields from phpmyadmin?
I tried to do that but it kept happeneing to me so now i just do everything on the live site.

You might could do an export and select the "REPLACE" option which would keep your old ads and only insert the new ones. Of course I would make a backup first in case I am totally wrong.
