Creating a Banner

I am wanting to create a banner for people to copy the code and place on their site. I went into page editor and created a page to place my banner on. The problem is, I do not understand exactly how to place the links and images. It gives no detailed instructions, nor does the administrations owners manual. I know it probably seems pretty cut and dry to someone who has done this type of thing, but thats not me. I would appreciate any step by step help I can get.

You use standard html to insert an image. It is all over the internet. Your page editor is actually doing it for you in fact. You can see this when you view the source of the page it generates.

People just go to your page and save the link from your image in their browser. You can offer the html code to them below the image if you wish as well. I really don't understand the problem.

Himm, I think I understand -- reminds me of different sites which would give htlml code which could be copied to another's site and the image would be able to be clicked from the other site and bring the customer to ryan's site. Kinda like paypal used to allow a person to generate code for same. There used to be many sites out there that used to allow or freely generate banner code for you. Try google I am sure you will find them. Then again, you can create your own -- generate a copy of paypal's code and re-work it for your own :-)
