Default Running 68 Classifieds on localhost with no connection

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone runs 68 Classifieds on localhost for testing without an internet connection? If so do you get any errors or have any problems?

Although I run several localhost installs, I don't run any without an internet connection.

Why would anyone want to do this? I guess maybe on a laptop somewhere without a connection temporarily, huh?

I could test it if you needed me too though.

Hi Mike,

If you could give it a try that would be great. He states he has issues running v4.0.9 without a connection. I have tried it my self but had no issues.

I checked running v4.0.9 on two different localhost installs. I only ran into one issue, but tracked that down to my javascript ads which of course make calls to the internet for the ad.

No other issues in front end or back end.

My suspicion would be that either the user has some hard coded calls in his files (e.g. href="http://something.com instead of {$smarty.const.URL}, including but not limited to javascript files) or has calls to ads as I had.
