Default Smarty error -- Heralding good or bad ?

I was tooling around in Admin/NewFields, deleting some, adding, and changing Order. I changed the name on one, altered the contents of its listbox. Saved and then tried to change the order, got this error message:

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "" in /home/<myserver>/public_html/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

I don't think I should be worried, since I assumed something wasn't connecting from making the alterations I did. I deleted the object I'd changed and recreated it. All is fine. but... should I be worried about something?

Is there some procedure to follow to avoid this error in the future?

Thanks
Barry

That error just means it can't find the template file that was requested. I would have to do some research on which one it was looking for but if you are not seeing it again then it could have just been an anomaly.

Thank you very much Eric.

I don't think it was an anomaly... I believe I'd converted a Parent w/children to a dropdown only -- which was ok at first. If I remember correctly the error came just when I tried to save changes to the title, afterwards. So, perhaps something somewhere was still under the impression it was still a Parent/Child resource, and as you say, couldn't find the "new" or updated version of the template.
