Hi,
I want to sell coupons, if you buy one for $100 you get $150 of ads and ect. What is the best way to do this automaticly? is it possible to use the 68c checkout system or would i be better to install zen cart on a sub domain? It needs to be automaticly and be able to use all methods that 68c can, check, paypal and paymate(for credit card). Cheers, Nick

I did something similar to this for a Church fundraiser. I don't know of anyway to "integrate" an e-commerce script or to automate it.
What I did, was create a number of coupon codes and entered them in a CSV file and imported them into the coupons table via phpMyAdmin. I created a page within the admin set to NOT publish called Church Fundraiser. I then added a blurb for it on my home page with a link to the page. On my Church Fundraiser page, I put my descriptive text, etc and then I put my payment buttons for each payment method. For each payment provider button, I just included all the necessary information to collect the payment. For the Pay by check/money order, I created a static HTML page with the instructions to send the money. Whenever I received a payment email for the coupon, I then sent them an email with their coupon information. (I kept my CSV file in a spreadsheet and added an extra column for "issued to"). I then filled in the "issued to" column for each coupon code as I sent them out. NOTES: 1. When creating the coupons, I set them to registered users, fixed amount, one year expiration and 1 only. 2. I never got anyone sending a payment (Duh, it's an online classifieds website!) 3. In my coupon email, I gave very detailed information down to the most small detail. (e.g. This coupon can only be used at myclassifiedssite.com, to use this coupon you must be registered at the site, registration is free, This coupon has a value of $xxx.xx, To use this coupon, enter the code during checkout after placing your ad...) -Mike

Do you know of anyway to make a checkout where they can use paypal and paymate? Even if i have to send out the coupon manually.
Cheers, Nick

Both PayPal and PayMate have a way to create a "pay now" button. That's what you use on your page that you create.
