Hello you friendly forum guys&girls
finally I purchased a 68C developer yesterday for my client, not only because the features and the price are right, but mainly because of the friendly and helpful posts in this forum. So, here I am my name is Gregor, German, living in Spain and fulltime webdesigner for more than 8 years now. Now the question(s): My client runs his website for already 10 years on a different host with a different system (phpnuke) I now purchased 68C and need to install it on a new server (still re-searching which one to use) and want to install 68C on it, make the design and such BEVOR switching the domains to the new server to have a smooth change from the old to the new system (+3000 visitors/day). How would I handle the license if there is no domain (during development) to bound the license to? Is it possible to set it to an IP in case I get a dedicated IP with my hosting? How would it work with a shared IP? The hosting I am thinking of at VistaPages (yes, I will use your affiliate link on purchase ) because they offer a great price and tons of traffic included. Thanks 4 your help & kind regards, Gregor

Hi and thanks for becoming a customer.
> How would I handle the license if there is no domain (during development) to bound the license to? Our system should take care of this for you. > Is it possible to set it to an IP in case I get a dedicated IP with my hosting? No it doesn't check the ip. > How would it work with a shared IP? It should work fine.

Glad to hear all this!
VistaPages Support tols me they'll provide a temporary URL with the shared IP so it looks everything goes well. Another question: my client has the same domain name twice onces as .com and .es how would I handle this with 68C ? Thanks again! Gregor

In that case you would always want to access the administration through one of them. So if you elect .es then any time you want to visit the admin use yoursite.es/administration/ or vise versa.
