Hi all, a little question for you if I may be so bold....

Maffo posted a mouth-wateringly tempting way to style dropdown boxes in this thread: http://www.68classifieds.com/forums/...4&postcount=19 but I can't find the relevant code to change in V4 I'd like to style all the category boxes as i've got quite a few

I'm afraid I can't answer that one, but I have a question for you ... where did you find the v4 developer download? I keep checking my developer downloads area, but it just says "no downloads available".

I'm licensed for designer and developer, and I see v4 rc10 in my designer downloads area ... but nothing for developer.

Just in the 'Get Downloads' section at the bottom Hugh, under 'Downloads for 68 Classifieds Developer'.

I think you may have an issue Eric has to sort if you can't see it

Thanks. Sorry about the thread hijacking. I did actually go and submit a support ticket after I posted that request. Although I think it went in without license key etc., 'cos it didn't re-populate those fields after bitching about my email address on my first attempt ... and I didn't notice till just as I hit Send.

Maybe once I get v4 installed I'll be able to actually contribute to this thread's subject!

That would be fab... without splitting categories and subcategories I think a color change between them is the next best option

Eric, if you have time can you confirm the location of this script please??

OOOOPS! Looks lie the code's already in place, you just need to add the styling to search.tpl

Okay, getting somewhere now...

I can use the parent styling below no problem, which styles all options under a parent id

{if $cat.parent_id == 0} style="color:#000; background-color: #a6d29f;" class="parent" {/if}

but what would I use to style an individual option, say category id 12??
