Base URL
Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to change the base url. We have a site that is already live and we are in the process of porting over the database to the 68classifieds DB, the problem is we want to be able to test the site at this sub domain www3.domain.com instead of www.domain.com or domain.com. Any help would be much appreciated. |

It is changed through the admin area. If anyone else needs to know how to do it here is the url path: /administration/settingsmain.php |

The base url is within a smarty variable in your layout.tpl file. This variable is pulled from the URL that is set in the main settings in your admin.
Please post your 68 Classifieds type (Designer, Developer), version (4.0.x, 4.1.x) and template in your postings asking for help. This information will help you get better answers for your posts. A great place to do this is in your signature!
