Login not working?

Hi

I have just upgraded from v4.1.1 Designer to v4.1.2 and when I have checked the site, I have noticed the login is not working (login.php). It just says 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'.

If I login to admin panel and then view the site, it works ok.

I backed up the site before upgrade so reverted back to old version but it still does not work. It may have been like this before upgrade and I just didn't notice.

Any ideas please?

Paul above you said you went from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 but your signature says your at 4.0.9.

If you were running 4.0.9 and using a custom template and then upgraded to 4.1.2 the templates are not compatible.

If your using a custom template, I recommend logging into admin and setting the site to use the default template and see if that works.

I am using the purple template with the colours changed a bit.

I tried what you suggested and it still wouldn't work so I cleared the compiled templates in maintenance and tried again and it worked. I changed back to my template and it seems to be working fine again.
