I am currently working w/ juven14 to create some kind of member website addition. I found a company that does it here http://www.esvon.com/pg/products/p_c...s/mod_website/
This seems to work exactly like I would want. Possible in the future? BTW, keep up the good work 68. The word on other forums is that esvon.com has horrible customer service. Makes me so happy that I went w/ 68! |

That is a good idea but very expensive. $389.95
![]() I have looked into it but haven't had any time to pursue it. Maybe one of the developers can create a module for something like this.

Yes they are high but I would pay that for one that worked like that!
It just happens to be exactly what I need. |

I think this could be done by installing duplicates to the same database.
Then all you'd need to do is add a owner id to the init.php file and then modify the search/category/toplistings files to filter for the owner id. Then create a template for site owners to edit or for yourself to edit for each new site. Then for each new site you just have to copy over the set of modified files and change the owner id in the init.php. Just getting a default set of modified files would be most of the work. Then all you'd have to worry about is upgrading.

It would seem that the "Seller Store" mod would have you almost there, since it already filters to the owner's listings. I'd look closely there and see if you can build from that functionality. You will still need to create the generic pages to be wrapped inside someone's template.

Yes the seller's store is almost what I need. I just want it to not showthe layout.tpl of the main site. If each store could have its own "layout" w/ its own complete look and links that would be great.
I am going to try juven14's multi install any day now and let you know how it works. |

Some questions. What level of HTML skills are you expecting your clients to have? Will you be building the sub-sites, or them?

I would be building them for them. Offer a "dealer package" that includes a web site with their own domain name and access to loading inventory/ads to not only their own pages but it also goes to the main site.
