SkGold has a spectacular aura about
Default Automatic follow up emails.

For future versions, is it possible to make automatic follow up emails? The same way as autoresponders working. I think this will add huge marketing possibilities for site owners.

What do you mean by "follow up" e-mails? When would the e-mail be sent and what would it contain?

I mean something like autoresponder.
You set up series of emails and time you want each email to be sent.
For example:
1. Welcome email. Sends immediately after registration. 68C already sends this email.
So now I want to follow up with my clients. But I want to do it automatically.
2. Follow up One email. You tell the system to send it for example 3 days after registration. In this email you may ask your customers How you doing? give them some advises and so on..
3. Follow up Two email. You tell the system to send it for example 10 days after registration. In this email you may give your customers for example discounts for switching to Featured Ad package or promote your membership packages.
4. Follow up Three email. You tell the system to send it for example 20 days after registration. In this email you may promote your secondary products or affiliate products.
And so on I think around 10 emails possibility will be good.
It also should be flexibility for setting up time you want each email to be sent and of course for writing personal email content..

I guess this is possible to implement with 68C. It something like Renewal Email, but I am not sure how hard it is.

I know this kind of email marketing works great. I am using it for some time and it brings a good results. I am using Aweber autoresponder system. This system is very good. If somebody wants to take a look how Aweber autoresponder system works here is my affiliate link Aweber.

I want to use follow up email marketing with my classifieds customers, but I just dont know how to connect Aweber with 68C, so I am suggesting to make some kind of Follow up email system in 68C.

Ahh, Ok Sergey, makes sense now. It would probably be easier to make a "module" than it would be to integrate it with another system.

If you have any additional input as to what you would like to see in term of setup or sending these follow up e-mails post them here.

Larry,
Did you worked with Aweber autoresponder before? I dont think it will be easy to make this module. I am guessing that it should be not big deal to include such system directly to 68C in future versions. However I am not specialist and cant do it myself, but I am willing to pay reasonable price for such module or such addition to 68C.

It will be interesting to see what Eric think about this?

Looks like a great idea for a new module.

What do you think would be a 'reasonable' price for such an add on ?

No, I have not worked with Aweber, I just looked over their feature list. Obviously a module for 68C likely wouldnt be quite as full featured, at least initially.

If made for just one customer a project like this would probably be billed on time spent and would probably get a bit costly. If it was created as a module though and offered to the masses im sure who ever created it would offer it at a price in line with the rest of the modules that are currently available. Of course the overall price would likely vary based on the overall functionality of the module itself.
