show featured ads on buliten board

does anyone know how to go about adding the featured ads in a buliten board that is located in the same site?

iv tried adding this to the bb index:

include ("featured.php");

with the featured.php page containing:

{* Featured Listings *}
{feature_listings_horizontal number=12 cols=4 table_attr='width="100%" style="border:1px solid #C4C4C4;"' td_attr='valign="middle" align="left"'}


but it didnt work...

You would only be able to use this if it is inside the classifieds. You can use the external rss feeds to place listings outside.

i have the bb directory inside the 68 root directory

No, because the above methods are smart plugins and their location etc is all setup and built into the core of 68C where it is not on the forum scripts. Also I dont beleive BB uses smarty anyway.
