I have version 3.1 and just discovered I cannot log as I get the following error:
Hash incorrect. Please delete the file license/key.php and reload this page. If that does not work please contact 68 Classifieds for support. I have read other threads on this issue however I see different resolutions and a bit of confusion. Can someone who has fixed this successfully detail what needs to be done. Is it something I can do or is it something that 68 classifieds needs to do for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is surely frustrating. Thanks ComCon |

Log out of your site.
delete key.php file login to 68 classifieds client area http://www.68classifieds.com/login Once logged in press the "Get downloads" link. From your table of licensed/purchased products select the get download link for the product your having problems with. At the top of the next page your will have a form that should contain a field for your sites domain. Clear that field and press the "edit" button. Try logging into the admin section of your own web site again. Please note that you should access the admin section of your site the same way all the time. www.yoursite.com OR yoursite.com.

Make sure that where ever you have installed the program, that it is that exact URL.

Thanks for replying - Of course, laws of the universe and all, my userid/password for the customer area are not working. Is there anyone I can contact at 68 classifieds to get me back in.
I lost the file with all my data (Another story involving an open sunroof and a rainstorm) and going by memory nothing is working. Any contact name/number/e-mail would be appreciated.:

I did try the only 4 e-mails I have ever had on the login page on the 68c main page as well as the password hint. The only thing I can think of is the original developer used his but he is long gone and I cannot ask him. That is why I am trying to contact a live body to see what my options are.
As for the contact us page, that puts you into a sales question forum (but I did send that directions as well). |

I just replied to the ticket. In the future if you do not know your account login or any of the account details you can always open the connections/classifieds.php file off the server and send your license key which helps tracking down your account a whole lot easier.
