Default phpBB 3.0

Hi everybody, I hope you all had a great New Years!
I been wanting to put a forum onto my web site and looked into some different options that I could do and I decided to go with phpBB, I did see that 68classifieds offered a user share script to combine the two. Well I just recently purchased the script and did all the necessary changes in the script, but I can not get it to work properly. Has anybody used phpBB 3.0 or maybe can give me some tips of executing it so I can run phpBB3 on my website. (phpBB 3.0)

Do I need to have one database for the two 68classifieds and phpBB or can I have two seperate databases and where should I install phpBB3 the root of my web server or in its own directory?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

i installes phpbb3 in a subrirectory of the top level domain, and yes, you will need to create a second database for phpbb.

Unhappy phpBB 2.0 & 3.0

I am not having any luck, I tried installing phpbb2.0, does not work, I am getting a failure after the install, and phpBB 3.0 installs and looks like a rel nice forum, but I can not get the usershare to operate correctly with 68 classifieds. does the script that bought from 68classifieds needs to be updated "userhare" for the phpbb 3.0 has anybody from the 68classifieds team tried using the new phpbb 3.0.

I am launching my website Febuary 13 2008 and need to know how I can get this to work together...

any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks, Dave

i havnt used the 'usershare' as yet but am going to over the next few days and would also like to know what changes may need to be made to get this to work.
it seems that phpbb3 is quite different than ver 2 so i hope Eric gets a chance to look at this soon.

P.S. LittleRascal: iv just deleted your account on the dirtbikes site thinking you were a spamer that found me on 68!

i now know you were just checking the phpbb usershare!
