Counter needs to count every page

I use a counter and noticed that the counter does not count every page. Where do i put this code so it will count every page. It is also important that it registers the pages the visitor has been. I have put the code in the the viewlisting and showlisting template.

If thats where you put the code then those are the only pages that will be registered. I suggest putting it in the layout.tpl.php template.

I suggest you take a few minutes and go over the template design tutorial in the html/css forum here, it explains how the templates tie together.
