sudden error!
when loading home page i get this: Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'C:\Inetpub\useddirtbikes\' (include_path='.;c:\php\includes;C:\Inetpub\useddi rtbikes\includes\classes\pear') in C:\Inetpub\useddirtbikes\includes\init.php on line 0 i have no idea what this may be, but iv got to get it fixed fast. help would be great Thanks Paiul designer 3.1 windows iis |

iv tried a backup copy that i know worked fine and i get the same error . it must be something else? any help asap would be great.

i try to log into the admin and get this:

Contact your host, my guess is they upgraded or changed something.

There is no way it would work one minuts and not the next unless something has changed. It sounds like you have been doing a lot of digging in the scripts themselves as well as with the php.ini file. Its really anyones guess at this point what you have done.
It looks like possibly permissions have changed somewhere. |

the problem seems to go away when ireplace the 'connections' folder for a brand new one, i have never even looked in this folder!
any ideas? |

You should really slow down a minute and learn about what it is your doing before doing it. The connections folder contains classifieds.php fiel which holds your sites database connection info, the database prefix and your license key.

it seems to be the database causing the problem, if i change it to an older one it works, i havnt modified the database recently, so i dont know how it has happened.

I had what may have been the same sort of problem at one point when the database changed ip address and localhost did not work. I had to put the actual ip of the db in or it kept throwing an error.
