Default Validating Address - preventing spammers

Does anyone know of a way to validate the address entered when someone registers (automatically) ?

I have started using goodle adwords and have found people registering with bogus names and addresses, including city & state... I am immediately banning them and sending them an email to let them know that we require valid addresses/names...but in reality if my site continues to grow I will not be able to keep up with this...(at least that is my hope!)

Any how.. I can plug the address into the official post office site and it validates zip codes and addresses, but again this is a manual effort on my part...

any suggestions? I am thinking this would be a major mod, but perhaps input from others would be helpful..

thanks!

Default Excellent Point

That's an excellent point, and I will be watching this thread for answers. It sure would be a nice feature to advertise so that prospective buyers are somewhat put at ease that some validation has taken place and may provide a slightly higher level of comfort/ease in trusting the vendors who may be posting.
