Default How to change id name/number in url?

When you ad a page to the site under page content template the id number is the one that shows up in the url. example: http://www.boatingswapshop.com/page/3.html
Is there a way to change this so the name of the page is in the url? example:
http://www.boatingswapshop.com/page/about.html

Thanks for the help in advance!
Scott

There is not a standard built in way to do it. I think that there is a mod available (SEO?) from a third party that will do that.

You mean the static pages that you create in admin? You will have to read up on apaches mod_rewrite and look at your seo mod for some pointers and then create your own rewrite rules based on your pages and what you would like the URL to be.
