Time for a Restart

Well, I have four days left here in the UK after what can only be described as a disasterous stint over here. Ive been here for three months and quite simply have not been able to work due to countless issues, moving from place to place, goin in hospital, horrendous internet connections and simply no chance of pushing my new classified-software project.

Well Ive been downhearted and felt it was all going wrong so what I needed was a fresh start.

Well what Im going to do is fly back to argentina on tuesday, take a good week finding a comfortable place to live(unfurnished), I will spend a week furnishing it to how I want, and I know once Im comfortable again, I will be back to my 'brilliant' self.

So just to let the board know that my services are suspended for now and I will be back very soon and pushing a campaign on my classified software, which I have no doubts is a guarenteed winner for people who use it.

What Im going to try and do is try and get 10-15 users of it and over a three month period, work through it all together, the setting up, marketing, everything, it has massive potential and also has a dead cert way of bringing in a healthy monthly payment.

Id like to apologise to any members who feel I have messed them around lately, it really has been impossible for me, and when it comes to programming, you cant be flitting around, doing a bit here and a bit there, I need 100% concentration and my head into my work which just hasnt been possible.

Also, the banner mod is no longer for sale. Its far more hassle than its worth to me.

The news mod is still available as that pretty much installs itself, the banner mod is another story, its simply to hard for most clients to work it out, then they all want it configuring differently and then maybe change their minds, its a whole lot easier for me simply not to sell it anymore and learn a valuable lesson from it.

Firstly read up on the classified software, the links inside my signature. Im thinking of doing a reduced price, possibly $500 if I get 10 or more people. I dont want to say too much in the public domain but the plan i have is banner related, it will involve a lot of hard work from each client, but I figure if we all work together then a lot of work can be reduced. The figures on paper are simply unbelievable so it would be cool if it could be brought to just 5 or 10% of its potential.

I will post more specific details in the near future.

Hi Maffo, Sorry about the issues you are experiencing. I am very interested in your Script and would like to purchase it ASAP. I have a lot of sub-domains that I will need to manage with your script. (start with 70 Sub-domains and eventually grow to thousands of sub-domains) The only problem is that launch date for my new website is set for September 12, 2007 so I need to buy your mod/script so I can add my design to it. Is there anyway you can sell me the script/mod before you go?

Im very sorry but to be honest it would be nigh on impossible and also stupid of me to sell you the 'classified-software' at such short notice and not being able to fully support you in the implementation. For one, I have to install it, it doesnt come with an installer even tho 68 does and it runs on top of 68.

Im off out tonight for a meal with close friends, tomorrow im organising a big send off beach barbie for everybody (very stressful!!!), sunday Im with my family, monday I pack, tuesday I go. Its gonna then take me a good fortnight to get back on my feet in Argentina, Im moving to a different city.

Im not quite sure if the script does exactly what you are after as it doesnt use subdomains. Everything operates on the same one domain. What it does allow is domain forwarders so you can host as many sites as you wish.

That's understandable, but I code PHP so I can adjust what ever needs to be adjusted. If you can send me instructions on how to install the software over my dev license of 68classifieds they I can get it to work... and if not I can then wait for you to get back to get some support. The thing is that we plan to take this software to massive levels. I am willing to pay for the script and install it myself, once you get back you can send me an e-mail and if I ran into any problems I will let you know after you get back. Please let me know... your software could save me 100 hours of coding... I have to take the chance on it... If the software works on Links then it will work on sub-domains. (charlotte.mycounty.com) is a link that could be used. so that's no big deal.

P.S.
I have several Hosting Servers in Texas and the Server that my new classified website is on doesn't have Cpanel on it so you would have to know linux shell commands in order to work on it and I usually don't let anyone have shell access to my server. So even if you weren't going to Argentina, I don't think I could give you access to install the software. Thanks anyways... I'll try using RSS Feeds to feed the categories to each site.

Im not sure whats best to do here Isaac for your sake. The site links work like this www.whatever.com?s=1 where s= the site. Also there are a few small areas that arent fully complete but with me going through this with clients myself, everything can be fully explained and worked around whilst growing the site.
