Banners Options....looking for suggestions...

Hi, Has anyone out there tried to get banners to appear throughout all the pages within 68...?

working with the Banner Mod....
and wanted the ads to appear thru all categories...not specific.

Tried several options..
working with layout and having the ads manually placed via a javascripting code....(but I want them to rotate and click out) which is more programming that I can't seem to grasp....plus I have no advanced features that the Maffo Banner can give me.

I love the idea of the Maffo integration into the 68...just click and pay...

wondered if anyone has modified this....

Scenerio: I have a static front page which links into the 68...which I have the Maffo Banner Mod there...

On my static page..I wanted the banners to show up..(which I've tried integrating javascript there....(not rotating)...I click into the classified area.
While browsing thru categories...I want each individual ad to appear thru all categories just like on the home page....

I don't use Maffo's banner mod, but as it is a module for 68C it may not be working on your static page since your static page isn't generated by 68C.

I use a different home page for my community site (layout2.tpl.php) for my home page, but it is still generated by the script. Perhaps that might be the way to go. All of my other pages (non-classifieds) use the layout2.tpl.php as well.

Perhaps I should clarify even more....

with the banner mod (although you don't have it yourself...)
trying to accomplish each ad to appear throughout all the categories...
not just one ad on a particular page...

I use phpmyads and just modified the templates/default/layout.tpl.php file to include the banner text: http://parrotclassifiedads.com

Yep, I just put the invocation code into my layout from phpadsnew (now openads).

just got back from a major show.....and found out that a major major competitor will be posting their site soon....to the same niche market...

Although I have to be quite honest to say that the 68 module has a very "clean" and professional look to it... and that we think we have an attractive layout, easy to navigate..we just laid eyes on our competitors site which has an amateur look to it and extremely busy...so we are hopeful that our ad blasts will get our site noticed before they go live...

I'm scrambling here to get this live...got loads of content to gather & upload...a super-human effort....

so with that said...there is extreme pressure here!

Maffo....I know you can whip up another part to your module that can accommodate my situation!!!!

On monday night I recieved an invitation to come and watch the cordoba Rally which is nearly 1000 miles from where I live. So I took my laptop and fixed all your problems whilst on the bus.
