Why isn't there an IPB usershare? Is it because it is difficult to make due to sql structure (or something like that, I don't really understand these matters )or just lack of demand?

I would say lack of demand. I don't remember any one requesting an IPB user share until now.

I know they have changed from being open source to commercial a few years back but do you know if it possible to get their files for testing?

I dont know if they will give their files for testing... but I would have no problem giving you an ftp account on my server and an installation to test with (i can have a production and a test install according to their terms)...

They also just released IP.Converge which allows for just this type of thing....
