Move and modify an ad: problems

I'm running V3.0.15

If I move into another category or modify an ad from the admin panel, the ad disappears from "Modify an Ad" section of the user login area and from "Browse Listings" of the admin panel.

Moreover, the ad that I've modified, goes down at the bottom of the page as the last ad.

Since I've modified a lot of things in several php files of 68 classifieds script, I would not upgrade to a new version.

Someone knows how to solve this problem?

Im assuming at one point you upgraded from an older version, how exactly did you do the upgrade?

It was an installation and not an upgrade.

You may have already done this but can we confirm the following. Have you tested this with a listing by just 'changing the category' alone? Then have you tested it with another listing by just 'modifying' something else in the listing?

Just wondering if this has come about because of the modifications made. Can you list the actual files you have modified? That may provide a clue.

Particularly interested to know if these are _.tpl.php or _.php files.

It's very strange: I've just done a test with two ads and it seems that now all works well.

Maybe it was a momentary problem of the server (?)

But, as a user, I lost the other ads I referred to in my first post...

Hello,

I've a new experience about this problem.

I moved (from admin panel) an ad from this page http://www.italyclassifieds.net/categories/32/40.html to this page http://www.italyclassifieds.net/categories/32/115.html

While this listing is present in the "Modify An Ad" section of the user login panel, It disappears from the "Browse Listings" section of my admin panel.

But, if I search this listing in the "Search Listings" of my admin panel, with the title of the listing or with his listing number (450), it appears!

Someone knows which is the problem?

Hi Fedeo-

I received your admin info-

I created an account, placed an ad in http://www.italyclassifieds.net/categories/32/115.html

I logged in as administrator and changed the listing to this category:
http://www.italyclassifieds.net/categories/36/48.html

I've logged in and out and it still shows on the "Browse Listings" page. I've also logged back in as a user and the ad shows up in my list of ads.

As Chaslie has pointed out, is there some other change you're making when you modify the add (other than just change the category)?

Thank you for your help, I've seen that it's ok!

Yesterday I made the same thing with another ad, but it disappeared from "Browse Listings" page.

Simply I moved the ad from a category to other one, but I saw that the ad was bold and highlighted... then I removed these attributes from admin panel and this ad disappeared from "Browse Listings" page.

You may see that there is not this ad (450) in the "Browse Listings" page:

450 ???
