Greetings,
I bought 68 classifieds over a year ago and just now installed it. After installation I could not remeber my Admin's user and pass. Not only that after installation when I went to the add's main page and I click on a link, the link is to 68 classifieds and not my site. How do I remedy this two problems. Thanks for your time xaphid |

xaphid-
All user information (including administrator's information) is stored in the Users table within the database. If you visit http://yoursite.com/userforgot.php and complete the form, a new password will be emailed to the address associated with the administrator's account. Once you receive the new password, try logging into administration. If you are still unable to login with the new password, register as a new user. Then, login to your database management tool (for example, PHPMyAdmin) and browse the Users table. The most recent user will probably be the account you just created. Use your database management system to modify this entry. Change the login level value to 1. This provides administrator's rights to your new account. You'll now be able to login to the administration panel with the new username/password combination you just created. Once you can login to admin, do so and change the base URL (in main settings). |
