I have a question about placing an ad. When a client of ours posts
a job the expiration date is the same as the date added. I can change that in the modify listing in the admin panel, but how does a registered user do this when placing an ad? Is their a default setting that I am not seeing? thank you Dave |

Go to: /administration/packages.php
Then click on 'Modify' and check 'Expiration'. Sounds like that is set to '1' at the present. That's why it is expiring the same day an ad was added.

Also, if the ad hasn't been approved or paid for the date will remain as the date added until that is changed.
In the checkout process at the thanks.php page it checks if the ad is paid for or approved and then updates the expiration and sets the display. It also checks if you require manual approval which is set in checkout settings via administration. |
