Hello,
It would be great to control the featured ads settings in the backend. Such as, which pages to put them on, how many to show, etc. Right now, you have to go into the template files which is ok for now, but it should be in the admin. I also know you guys are not working on a banner rotator section of the admin, but do you know how great that would be?! I think the classifieds can't really get any better anyways! Zack

I'd like to see this too, or have someone tell me how to setup rotating banners ads. I am new to this and I am not very technical. I do try, however.
Thanks! OS |

Thanks, Zack-
Eric wants to release a browser-based editor so, even if you still have to modify the template file to change the way featured ads are displayed, you can do it in one place. Old School - Most of the folks using 68 Classifieds are using phpadsnew for their banner ad manager. Their site is located at www.phpadsnew.com - We haven't tried incorporating a banner ad manager into 68 Classifieds because it's a great product - and free. We may embed something in the future. Thanks- |
