Default Remove User Delete Option

Hi there,

Is is possible to remove the user delete function when the user has logged in and is modifying an ad I really do not want this to be available as I want to hold ads for statistical purposes even if they are no longer active.

Thanks in advance,
Mully

This can be done by opening templates/default/users/userbrowselistings.tpl.php and removing the button.

I would reconsider your appraoch to this.

If an items sells right away but an ad has quite a bit more run time that means the seller is subjected to a lot of potential calls for an item they no longer have because they cant remove it from your site. That alone would annoy me and dissuade me from using your site.

If I leave the user delete option in does that mean that the ads get removed from the database tables outright?

I was hoping that instead of this I could save them so I have a record of everything that gets reused, I was then hoping to display this in another page for public interest.

Would this be an easy thing to acheive ?
