Default Large price field entry causes listing to be hidden in admincp

We discovered a listing today while browsing the products table that was not showing up in the admincp at all. It was unapproved (display = C) and only showed up after we lowered the price from 22502500 to 2250. The customer had probably entered "2250-2500" in an attempt to show a range, but it was entered into the database as 22502500.

Just as a test, we put 22502500 back in the price field after approving the ad, and it displayed properly on the front-end of the site but was once again gone from the admincp.

A fix for this really should include informing the customer that they had invalid input (in this case, a "-") rather than just stripping it, since I'm sure the product they were selling would not be all that attractive to potential buyers at a hefty pricetag of $22,502,500.

Eric Barnes is a jewel in the rough
Default

I just had a look and both the searchresults and browselistings in the administration cuts the price off at 9999999. So that is why it wasn't seen.

I think what I might add is some javascript where they can only enter numbers in the price field. It gets tricky though for currency's that use a different decimal seperator.
