HI there,

Installed files for version 3.0.15 but now am locked out of administration with licence disabled error can you help ?

Hi Eric,

I don't seem to have this file, have been doing the upgrades by copying / comparing files as I have several modified that i need to be careful about overwriting.

Do you have the directory permissions for /license set to 777? It should be able to write this file and if it cant I would assume you would also get an error.

Yes permissions are set correctly but all I have in that directory is an index.htm file both in the extracted downloaded zip and also on the site...

It might be the actual license key. I looked and you license key did change when I added you back into the system.

So can you visit:
http://www.68classifieds.com/members/ and get your new license key then make sure it is the same one in the Connections/classifieds.php file.

Also keep in mind that file has your database connection in it so it is good idea to get the one off the server first.

Cheers thats me back in now.

Few questions on this though,

My version still shows as 3.0.13 and upgrade here is still available as a link in the admin section, I manually copied the files I needed from the new version do I need to do anything else ?

Sry likely being dumb here but Not 100% on what you mean in last post i.e.good idea to get the one off the server first ?

When you upgrade you need to also go through the install again selecting upgrade which will then update your version number and change any database fields that need to be altered.

I was just putting that as a precaution. I have made a suggestion before to alter the connections file and they had the original locally which they changed. Then uploaded it and the script couldn't connect to the databse.
