okay so ive been having this problem for a minute heres the link to my site: ADS.NATEADS.COM i already have all 50 states in categories and the top populated cities in those states (about 12 so far taking a long time creating cats.) then for my very first category alabama- birmingham- then my categories. i just would like to no is there a trick/hack to duplicate this parent categorie format for all my states without having to manually go in there and do them one by one cuase i really have to get this thing rolling!!!!! i keep getting loads of emails saying they want more of a browsing experence on my site both posting/viewing cuase templatecodes sigma grey only has browsing for viewing! i know you two no the most about the script and its features! thanks,nateads.com
I'm not really following what you are saying about the TemplateCodes template is only set for viewing. If it were me, I would just do it in a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel or one of the open source spreadsheets (office) and enter everything in there and then import it directly into the database. I personally wouldn't go setting it all up that way, unless you truly are going have tons of ads for each state and city accordingly. I just don't see the point, but to each his own.
i mean yea i acutally need it to work that way or i wont be able to make any money is there a way u can give me a tutorial for that cause im really new to smarty and tpl plus i am illiterate when it comes to dealing with databases and mysql please mike i really need your help i have about 50 bucks on a paypal and i could pay for that cause thats the layout i would need for the type of site i want check it out for me please: ADS.NATEADS.COM or like could u write a code for me then like send it to me or something i already have a healty number of people and thats the type of browesing/posting system they want i mean i could have just wrote a simple link page in dw cs5 but i like the whole 68classifieds templates and modules and thing like that looks very nice i just want to alter it
