    GLAD YOU LIKE THEM!

Looks smart - my only problem with it is I have pages of PMs and I don't know how to delete them when they are of no use or interest. Also the home button annoys me because it does not take me logically to the home page of the forum. Minor things though - well done.

I would like to understand the difference between Members>Recent Activity and Forums>What's New? Is there an equivalent to the old 'New Posts' link? That was always my first port of call and I suspect it was for most forum members.

the Forums>What's New is the equivalent to the old "New Posts" link.

You guys decide what makes the most sense or most intuitive and I'll change the links.

Or - we could just get used to something new

Having real trouble with pages failing to load in reasonable times. It seems like the share buttons are slowing up the messaging too making it unusable from here. Getting javascript errors being reported by firefox and not allowing me to post - took 5 goes to post this.

Strange...all is working lickity split over here

Cleared DNS cache and reset router - no better this morning. No difference on Safari or Firefox.

That's odd, as it seems to work fine for me as well. Seems even a little faster than VBulletin was although still get those little hiccups every once in a while.

I've only accessed using Safari v5.1.3 on a Mac running Lion v10.7.3

Got to say, it's fine for me too. I post using Opera.

Still no better for me. Tested it out through proxies in different countries, different browsers (Safari and Firefox) and the problem only appears when being logged in. 10-40 seconds a page load.

Seems like somebody logging into my account on I.E8 and I.E 9 in a different country has the same problem.

Normal speed when not logged out but virtually unusable when logged in.

I just tested from my end using ie8 and ie9 while being logged in. No problems to report, site is loading very well for me logged in or not using ie8, ie9 and ff10.

Where from - I begin to suspect it is a DNS issue with Rackspace.

Our ISP is in central Canada.

Worked out most things I need from the forum and how to work it, at some point though is there a way to get its search engine to list all the posts and threads on here as I tend to use search for information and sort out things that way which also helps me learn a bit more and of course I don't have to bug you good people for minor things that I really should be able to do by now! At the moment it seems that search only picks up the threads and posts made since it was installed and google search on the forum is a bit hit and miss!

Are you using the advanced search? It seems to pull up any threads from any dates for me. The advanced searched is from the search menu, "More"
  18. calaf6 Customer

Aaagh, I could have saved a couple of days if I had seen that!!

Is there a way to edit my posts...for some reason I can't seem to find an edit link
  20. Mike-N-Tosh Developer & Moderator

If you are allowed to edit your post, the link "edit" should be on the bottom left hand side of your post just under your signature, if you have one.
