Step1 search

    Any one tried to change drop down box on step1 to a search box? I would love to know how to do this.

    To make it clear in addition to a dropdown box in step 1 I would like to have a text search field that would search all categories. Anyone have any ideas?

    Are you meaning change the category select drop-down in Step 1 of the checkout to a search box ?

    That doesn't make sense to me ... maybe I'm not understanding your question

    I have over 8000 categories/items that have call it a serieal number associated with each in the database. I would like to ad a text search field that would search these serial numbers and bring up the associated category/items/name/and such to step 2
