manage products - i think you can prioritize the packages you have created do your most expensive can go first - /administration/products.php
Thank You Seymourjames for you reply. But I am still little confused???? To display the listing on priority basis on my website I do I need to change the administration/products.php? Let me explain the whole thing? I have 4 different packages for my classifieds website. 1. Free Listing, 2. Gold Listing, 3. Platinum Listing & 4. Diamond Listing. Now, whenever the visitor goes to Category/categoryname.html or search.html page than I want highest paid classifieds to appear first in result. It should be in like this sequence 4. Diamond Listing, 3. Platinum Listing, 2. Gold Listing & then 1. Free Listing. For this if I need to change the administration/products.php the where exactly do I need to alter the codes??? Thank You so much for your Help.
This has absolutely nothing to do with any of my products at all. I'm not sure why you are posting this in support of my products or in this thread. There is nothing in admin nor is there anything built into 68 classifieds that allows the sorting of listings by the ad listing package that they used to place their listing on the site. Thank You Mike for your reply. Than what is the use of having various packages for customers on my website. I charge more for the customer who want higher package, and hence their classified ads have to appear on top while search or browsing the categories?
This makes no sense to me whatsoever. That's like saying what's the point in having a different models of coffee makers that have several different features if it won't make margaritas? I can understand if you want to make margaritas, but that doesn't mean there's no point to having different coffee machines. Right? Having different ad packages allows you to offer your sellers a long list of different features that you can charge accordingly for. Unfortunately, the feature/option that you want just happens to be one that isn't offered. These ad packages can't make margaritas either, btw.
Well, I don't know if you can custom create it or not as I don't know what your skill level with php/smarty is. I'm sure it can be done, however it is not a straightforward development.
